JVP will be celebrating our 2019 Deepawali festival on Nov 9th Saturday!
Deepawali has a very special significance in our Jain religion – on this day Bhagwan Mahaveer, our 24th Jain Tirthankar, attained Nirvan or Moksh (liberation) at Pavapuri and the following day, his chief disciple Ganadhara Gautam Swami attained Kevalgyan, which begins our Jain New Year – Veer Samvat 2544.
For 2019, Deepawali festival, JVP has scheduled following programs :
Diwali Pooja – Starts @03:00 PM Puja & Aarti followed by Swamivatsalya (around 6.00 PM)
Note: Social and cultural activities planned in the evening post JVP event at same location.
